Art Cats Gallery presents "SPRING FORTH" from May 11-June  6.

Introducing powerful portraits in oil by  newcomer Stephanie Larson. Stephanie's raw and evocative  paintings are mesmerizing and thought provoking. Don't miss this first showing  by this talented young artist.

"Spring Forth" also features the work of  California artist Jon Price. Price literally wrote the book (The Art Of  Crystalline Glazing) on crystalline glazes and his porcelain vessels are a   perfect vehicle to display the amazing colors and crystals he acquires in his   firing. His pieces belong in every collection! Our dazzling jewelry showcases are  full just in time for Mother's Day!.

New jewelry including funky fused glass by  Kristin Perkins, Shakespearean influenced jewelry by Robin Goodfellow,  outstanding dichroic glass jewelry by Carol Silrum and Nathalie Strickland and  affordable and unique bracelets, earrings and necklaces by local artisans, Irene  Rogers and Alexis Aberria. We are now carrying limited edition  prints by Lin Haak, Angela Bond and
local artist, Cat Jackson.

Champagne Reception for  "SPRING FORTH" is FRIDAY May 11 from 5-8pm and
Saturday, May 12, from 11-5  during our second Saturday Art Party.
From 12-4 on May 12 we will be  featuring glaze your own tiles. Get there

June 9th, from 11-5 is the opening for "GO FISH" featuring a  fabulous array of fish and water themed artwork. Karen Fincannon's fun  and  fanciful ceramic fish will capture you, hook, line and sinker. Nancy Salomon"s  new wall
mermaids will make you believe in fairy tales and her  hand  painted functional pottery is a visual delight as well as user  friendly.

Brian Gingrass presents a colorful school of blown glass fish that  can be hung in a window or set swimming on a  shelf. Compositions with Michigan stones are  artfully   photographed by Lee Rentz . Look for new fishy pieces by Cat Jackson, Susan  McElfish, John Keyser, Elliott Metalworks and others plus a fun new selection of  ankle bracelets with matching bracelets by Desert Heart. Don't miss affordable  and beautiful cast glass bowls by Fire and Light as well as new jewelry by   favorites Amy Greeley, Gardella, Amy Sorenson, Oreb Lram and Stephanie Edstrom.  We have a great selection of hand painted wine and martini glasses from With a   Twist. These are great wedding presents!  Coming soon: a collection of cat  and dog jewelry by Liz Kain plus her  sterling silver  rings impressed  with Shakesperean quotes and glass cats, purrfect pocket size curled up cats in  a great variety of colors.
